| Here are your sizzling sampler plates for this week 5: |
The 260-pound bowling ball, LeRon "the train" McClain, has been bashing defenders about like bowling pins spilled over, ready to be swept away. Unlike his "heavyweight" counterpart, Yahoo's Brad Evans' man crush, the 6''5 Brandon Jacobs, McClain's weight is bottom-loaded. His 5''10 frame thus packs a lot of punch per pound needless to say. His moves and quickness prove that he has the agility to not just punish defenders as just a fullback, but one that punishes defenders when he finishes his runs as a halfback now too. If you watched the game against Pittsburgh this past Monday night, you already know what I mean. With the ever so fragile Willis McGahee banged up again, McClain will get his whistle "tooted" plenty of times this week, including reception touches too. McClain's secret in Baltimore is like the Raven quoked: "Nevermore."

The 5''8 tall, but explosive and savy Moore, appears to have made a love connection with Brees. Over the last two games Moore has lead the team in receiving looks, yards, and TD's, and appears to be creating a name for himself. Devery Henderson caught one deep ball for a TD and David Patten wasn't a factor, however Meachem looks to be maturing a little. With Shockey shelved and Colston gone, Moore isnt going anywhere just yet.

Another Saint comes marching in this week - Looking as if he has two spry, unscathed, virgin knees, The Deuce gave the few keen owners who picked him up for his return - something to moan about. McCallister may be a forgotten man in your league, but he showed the strength and readiness to take on a healthy share of loads, especially between the tackles where Bush isn't as effective. Deuce will get the majority of touches near the goal as well, and should be valued as a #2 running back in TD oriented leagues, but a mere backup in yardage heavy formats.

In his two previous games, Matt Schaub had been beaten almost as badly as some of the contestants on the ESPN reality show that you should be familar with, Stump the Schwab. Schaub can play, and he has all the toys a fun and gun boy could beg and plead for. A WR that can dominate, a legit number two in Walters (who caught 2 touchdowns last week and should owned in all leagues), and a playmaking back. Not to mention a sure handed option at TE, and its no wonder why defense's aren't stumping the Schaub any longer. Expect 250-350 yards with 1-3 touchdowns a game. Some owners I know cut him loose before his righteous renewal. I am among them. Owners should see a boon in the Texan's Rifler's stats when Andre Johnson makes his impact.
As if the disastrous, yet lucrative, trip North to Chicago never happened, Muhammad is once again establishing himself as a go-to-guy in Carolina. Opposite defensive nightmare Steve Smith, Muhammad finds himself open on many underneath routes, and has a penchant for making 3rd down grabs. Because of his height, he will always be a threat in the goaline to run a successful fade route. Pick up the perhaps forgotten in your league beast worthy of a second WR slot on your roster, as he returns to NFL - As well as fantasy glory once again.
